On Sunday, October 27, 2019, at 10:00 am, Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel-President of the University of Zakho, and Assistant Professor Dr. Diyar A. Saed-Vice President of the University for Administration and Financial Affairs, warmly welcomed the delegation of "Komkhabata Kormanji's Group" of Kurdish Institute in France.

At the beginning, the president of the university delivered a speech then talked about Middle East, Kurdish language cases, and how the Kurdish language and culture emerged. After that he talked about the stages of the development of Kurdish language and studying in Kurdish language. Then he appreciated the group for their effortless (32) years of activities in the field of language.

Likewise, the group's director Mr. Rasho Zilan thanked the presidency of the university for their efforts in hosting the meeting for the third year in a row and providing the group with all they need.

It's worth mentioning that the ceremony of the meeting took place at the hall of Khalil Khayali at 11:00 am, and started with speeches delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel-President of the University of Zakho, Professor Dr. Abdulwahab Kh. Mousa-Lecturer at Kurdish Department and the group's member, and Mr. Rasho Zilan-Group's Director. Then they visited Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies and the faculty liberary. It's worth noting that the group will continue its activities at the university for seven days, seven hours a day.
